- Eligible to be elected to the MCA Executive Board (EB), Board of Trustees (BoT) and GIS Board of Directors (GIS parents only)
- Eligible to nominate and vote for candidates for the boards
- Eligible to vote in General Body meetings and make the decisions
- Attend all board meetings as observers except when discussing confidential employee personnel matters
Eligibility of Membership
- A member must be at least 16 years old.
- A new or renewing member shall testify in the basic beliefs of Islamic faith.
- The membership year is one Hijri year, from the first of Shawwal to the end of Ramadan of the following year. Unless otherwise specified, membership applications and dues collected in Ramadan will apply towards membership for the following membership year.
- Membership dues can be paid in advance for up to five years.
- Membership Fee per person: $40 per year / $60 per 2 years / $90 per 3 years / $120 per 4years / $150 per 5 years
- A member must be a resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically a resident of San Francisco, Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Benito, Alameda, Contra Costa or Santa Cruz counties.
- MCA member must respect the MCA constitution and must abide by the MCA rules and policies.

- As a member of Muslim Community Association, you are eligible to receive 35% OFF of all MCA facility rentals
- Disclaimer:
- If your residence is outside the counties mentioned above, your application will be rejected and your payment will be refunded.
- MCA Executive board may revoke or reject to renew membership if the member found disrespectful to MCA constitution or/and abuse the MCA rules and policies.
- The registration will be under your name. Each elegible member in each family must have an independant and seperate application with the same address.
- Your and all your family members must have the same address, if one of your family member moved from the bay area you should notify us. by email at membership@mcabayarea.org
